| Revision evision to PMAC Constitution |
It was moved and seconded at our June 4 meeting then approved at out July 2 meeting to revise the PMAC constitution to; 1) elevate the position of Chairman, Field Maintenance
Committee to exec board member and 2) describe the responsibilities of that office.
This revision required minor wording changes in two paragraphs, Article 5 section 1 and Article 5 section 2, and a new section added to
Article 6 after current section 5 and before current section 6. The revised constitution has been posted and can be seen at LINK
Article 5
Officers and their Election
Section1: (a) The officers of this organization shall be President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, Chairman of Field
Maintenance Committee, and Chief Flight Instructor. These officers will be known as the Executive Board and will act as the Safety Committee.
Section 2: The Web Master shall be elected by simple majority of dues paying members present at the November business meeting.
ARTICLE 6
Officer and Executive Board Responsibilities
(new) Section (5/6): The Chairman of Field Maintenance Committee will oversee maintaining the field specifically:

Cut & trim grass as necessary,

Provide routine fertilizer, weed killer, seeding, and rolling as required

Maintain field maintenance equipment as required

Perform monthly field safety inspection, maintain field safety inspection log, and submit annual field safety report as required by DNR management

Submit regular Volunteerism Report to DNR office
- Make recommendations to the President for work parties to further improve the field

| Runway Rolled May 29, 2008 |

The PMAC executive board recently voted to roll the runway with a commercial vibrating roller. On May 29 the field was rolled and all who have
looked at the runway agree that it is much smoother than before. This could become an annual field improvement event if it helps.

| Announcement - 2008 Dues Are Due |
Club dues are due January 1, 2008 and since club membership is dependent upon AMA
membership, you must have your 2008 AMA membership to renew PMAC. You can
renew your AMA membership at the
AMA Membership Application Center.
Note that to vote, you must be up to date with your club and AMA membership.
Members not keeping their membership current, paid by February 15th, shall be
required to pay their year’s dues and a $15.00 reinstatement fee.
